Organizational Stakeholders play a key governance role in sustaining GRI as an open, democratic and global institution, and in ensuring a quality Reporting Framework.
Key benefits include special access to the GRI network, a variety of opportunities for promotion, recognition, discounts on GRI products and services and eligibliy to vote for members of the Stakeholder Council (SC).
In turn, the SC approves nominations for, and makes strategic recommendations to, the Board of Directors (BoD).
Each Organizational Stakeholder may cast one vote for the SC comprising 60% of the overall votes.
