To complement the Working Group meetings, the project partners organized two regional workshops to invite views from a broader range of individuals and organizations on expectations on human rights reporting and performance measurement. Each workshop had a specific focus around questions developed together with the Working Group, and the workshop agenda was built around practical exercises and reviews of current practice.

The workshops served as a forum to test how ideas being developed by the Working Group would be implemented in practice and to guage reactions. Each workshop has resulted in specific recommendations to the Working Group on issues relevant to their deliberations and more general observations for use in the preparation of the Resource Document on Human Rights Reporting.
