Registering your G3-based report

Any organization that releases a report that uses the GRI Reporting Framework can be included in the database.

If you have produced a GRI-based report please register on our database and send the Secretariat a hard copy of your report (if it exists).

Reports Registration

Any organization that releases a report that uses the GRI Reporting Framework can be included in GRI's database.

If you have produced a GRI-based report please register it on our website and send the Secretariat a hard copy of your report (if it exists).

Register your G3 Guidelines report:

If you have reported using the G3 Guidelines, please self-declare your Application Level and then register your report. Reports that have not declared an Application Level are currently accepted as a GRI report, but might not be qualified as GRI reports in the future. GRI would like to encourage organizations to use the Application Levels.

Register your 2002 Guidelines (G2) report:

Organizations producing G2 "reference only" reports will, at minimum, be required to include a Content Index for the report to be recognized as a GRI report.

G2 reports can also self-declare "In Accordance" status, provided the report meets the five "In Accordance" criteria. You have the option for the GRI to check that your report meets the In Accordance criteria.

Note: The GRI will continue to recognize reports based on the 2002 Guidelines for two reporting cycles, as well as recognizing full In Accordance status. All organizations commencing reporting should use the G3 Guidelines

What will be included in our database?

Types of reports

·         G3 reports that have been qualified with an Application Level and G3 reports without having declared an Application Level. The first option is the most preferable option. In the future it might be that GRI will start accepting ‘Application Level’ reports exclusively.

     ·        The database tracks what Application Level has been declared (C, B, A        and the "+" option at each level), and whether the self-declaration has

checked by a third party or by GRI.

·        G2 "reference only" reports that include a Content Index.

·         G2 “In Accordance” reports, and whether “In Accordance” is self-declared or GRI-checked.

How can I make sure my report is included?

·         Reports should be registered with the Secretariat for inclusion on the list. If you fail to notify the GRI Secretariat your report will possible not be spotted.

·         You can register recently-released reports, or those issued in the past that were previously unregistered.

What does inclusion in the GRI database mean?

·         Inclusion in the database does not certify the report's conformance to the Guidelines.

Please register your reports and support this valuable information repository.
