GRI Reporting in Government Agencies

This report examines GRI reporting by Public Agencies. GRI conducted research in order to gain a better understanding of current reporting practices in the sector and to review the use of the pilot version of the Public Agencies Sector Supplement (2005). The findings are presented in this paper, which will be used as a resource for the finalization of the Supplement

Small, Smart and Sustainable

 

This paper shares the experiences of the Transparency in the Supply Chain public-private partnership project of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ). The main focus of the project was to create partnerships and transparency in the supply chain by implementing the practice of GRI sustainability reporting by suppliers in global supply chains of European multinationals. This document covers the experiences of implementing reporting processes in twelve suppliers of four European multinationals.

Reporting on Human Rights

This survey on corporate human rights reporting was produced by GRI in partnership with the Roberts Environmental Center (a research institute at Claremont McKenna College).  The survey, based on information published by 100 large companies from around the world, evaluated the extent to which performance information is reported by companies to describe their compliance with widely accepted human rights objectives.

Sustainability Reporting in the Food Processing Sector

This survey examined the trends in sustainability reporting among food processing companies. The survey included an overview of the 60 food processing reports for 2006 and an examination of reporting trends among a sample of 20 food processing reporters. This research will be used as a resource for the development of the Food Processing Sector Supplement, which is currently underway and is expected to be launched in 2010.

Reporting on Community Impacts

Working together with The University of Hong Kong and CSR Asia, GRI conducted this survey in order to gain a better understanding of current practices of the reporting of community performance and impacts.
