The Certified Training Program aims to disseminate knowledge on sustainability reporting around the world. It has been developed especially to help report makers and users to more effectively use the GRI Framework and GRI reports.

Please click here for an overview of the Learning Objectives of the Certified Training Program.

Target participant groups are report makers such as:

  • consultants;
  • business managers;
  • SMEs managers; and
  • NGO managers and other professionals in charge of the implementation of the GRI reporting process.

As well as report users such as:

  • NGOs
  • financial analysts;
  • government officials;
  • company boards; and
  • media

The training program is implemented by selected local training organizations in different countries who GRI has certified. Find out more about the current certified training partners per country.

There are a number of steps that have to be undertaken before a training organization can be GRI certified and so offer the training. See below for a detailed explanation of these steps. If you would like more information on any one of the steps, click on the appropriate links:

If you have any questions that are not addressed in the training page, you can send an email to GRI Learning Services, learning@globalreporting.org
