This event will take the form of a roundtable discussion examining the role of governments and public institutions in promoting and using sustainability reporting, with special reference to GRI.

Among other items for discussion will be public initiatives to advance sustainability reporting, including the experiences of various countries and regions with different approaches; the challenges in building capacity and modernizing reporting requirements in emerging market economies; and ways of improving the usability of sustainability reporting.
