Transparency in the ‘third sector’ – Survey the draft indicators for the NGO Sector Supplement

The draft indicators for the NGO Sector Supplement will be available for comment via survey from 1 September 2008.  The role of organized civil society has elevated in recent years to the point that it can have significant influence on public policy development.  For this reason, amongst others, it must be as transparent as any other sector.  A multi-stakeholder Working Group has been using the GRI consensus-seeking process to research and draft the Non-Profit Sector Supplement, based on the G3 Guidelines, since the start in February 2008. Be part of the GRI public consultation base by taking part in the survey. Keep an eye out on the NGO Sector Supplement page from Monday 1 September.
