Summer at the Secretariat

Over the past couple of months, the GRI Secretariat has bid farewell to some of its longest-standing staff members, including Damir Dragicevic, Naoko Kubo, Alyson Slater and Ralph Thurm. GRI wishes them well in the future and appreciates their dedication and commitment to advancing the GRI mission over the years.

Their departure has resulted in a re-shuffle within the GRI Secretariat in addition to the appearance of a few new faces, namely Sarah Billens-Smith, Communications Coordinator, Scott McAusland, Press Relations Manager,  Elina Sviklina, Governance Coordinator and Enrique Torres, Training Manager.  Please click here to view the current list of Secretariat Staff and their roles.

We currently have vacancies for various positions – click here to view them.

Secretariat staff are continuing to travel the world advancing the GRI mission. Leontien Plugge was recently in Singapore presenting at both the Sustainability Reporting Asia Conference and at CSR Asia. In the past month Ernst Ligteringen attended a productive GAN-NET Leaders meeting in Berlin, before heading off to Brazil for a series of meetings with GRI partners in Sao Paulo. Ernst will, however, take a well-deserved break in August.

Sector Supplement Managers Maaike Fleur and Naoko Kubo facilitated the third Working Group meeting in London this month, an integral step in the development of the NGO Sector Supplement. Within the next few months the Working Group will ask for public feedback on draft sector specific indicators.
