In a national Transparency Benchmark for 2007 conducted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Dutch bank Rabobank was found to be the most transparent company with regards to its corporate social responsibility practices.
Both annual financial statements and sustainability reports were taken into account for this research, which looked at the reports of 150 other companies in the Netherlands. Rabobank’s sustainability report was based on the GRI G3 Guidelines and the company is a supporter of the GRI Readers’ Choice Awards.
