GRI and St James Ethics Centre (Sydney, Australia) last week signed an agreement to establish an Australian base for GRI. Australia is already a regional leader for sustainability reporting, and by partnering with St James Ethics Centre, GRI “hopes to strengthen and broaden the active and dynamic community in Australia that create, read and use sustainability reports” (Leontien Plugge, Network Relations Manager at GRI). Rosemary Sainty, Head Responsible Business Practice at the Centre, said “Australia has much to contribute in this space and we are keen to see Australia further grow as a trusted regional hub for business.” Read the press release here.
