GRI is exploring opportunities to develop sector specific reporting guidelines for the Construction and Real Estate Industry. This sector faces specific substantial sustainability risks and impacts and its diverse stakeholders are increasingly demanding greater transparency around issues such as energy efficiency of building design, sustainability of construction materials, environmental impact on construction sites and accessibility of affordable housing.
