On 18 and 19 June 2009, the Food Processing Sector Supplement Working Group congregated for the sixth time at a meeting in Copenhagen, hosted by Danisco. The aim of the meeting was to finalize the draft Sector Supplement prior to releasing it for the Public Comment Period, which GRI expects to announce shortly (likely to commence in early August).
The meeting included a half-day open stakeholder workshop in which guests from both the Food Processing industry and interested stakeholder groups learned about the content of the Sector Supplement, and provided feedback to inform the Working Group.
