Sector Supplements are a key part of the Reporting Framework. They designed to complement the Guidelines, and should be used in addition to, not in place of, the Guidelines.

Using Sector Supplements in the G2-G3 transition.

Some sectors face unique needs that require specialized guidance in addition to the universally applicable core Guidelines.

Sector Supplements respond to these needs.

 

 

 

Practitioners’ Networks

 

Keen to engage in the GRI’s product development? Consider joining a Practitioners' Network - groups of expert practitioners that voluntarily engage throughout the Sector Supplement development process. Roles and benefits of for Practitioner Network members include:

 

·         answering technical and other questions posed to them by the working groups;

·         being involved in product development in voluntary, informal ways

·         receiving members only occasional updates on the supplement’s development; and

·         assisting in the supplement’s creation in various other ways.

 

Practitioners’ Networks are currently running for: Logistics and Transport; Apparel and Footwear; and Energy Utilities.
