1) Large and medium-sized enterprises: For-profit enterprises in all industry sectors, of all sizes and operations in any country, with an annual turnover / operating budget of over € 10 million.
2) Public sector: Government agencies, multi-lateral institutions, international organizations, etc.
2) Small enterprises: For-profit enterprises in all industry sectors, of all sizes and operations in any country, with an annual turnover / operating budget of € 10 million or less.
3) Non-profit: A registered charitable organization or (public) foundation.

4) PhD & Master Student: In order to qualify for this registration type you must send a scan of an official document signed by the head of the department of the university you are currently enrolled at, proving your PhD / Master student status to griconference-reg@mci-group.com. Your registration as PhD / Master student is only valid after the registration office has received your proof document.

Conference registration terms and conditions 
MCI Amsterdam

MCI Amsterdam has been selected by GRI as Conference Registration Office and Logistics Partner for the 5th GRI Global Conference. MCI Amsterdam will collect the registration and housing fees on behalf of GRI.

Upon completion of your online registration, you will receive a confirmation by email. The confirmation is sent to the email address provided on the registration form and will show whether we have received your payment and will include an invoice.

All costs referred to are in Euro (€). All payments must be made in Euro (€); no other currency will be accepted. Full payment is due within two weeks after receipt of the registration invoice.
Registrations and hotel reservations are only confirmed once the required payment has been received.

Only digital versions of invoices will be sent to participants upon completion of the online registration. The invoice will be issued using the billing details provided on the registration form so please ensure to provide the correct information (company name, address and VAT number if applicable).
VAT and taxes
Dutch VAT is applicable on all Conference registration fees (21%).
Hotel room rates are mentioned per night per room including 6% VAT and 5% city tax.
Please note that VAT on registration fees paid by companies and other taxable entities may only be reclaimed if the client’s VAT number is mentioned on the invoice. If applicable, please fill out your company’s VAT number in the corresponding section on the online form.
It is the responsibility of each delegate to follow the correct procedure to reclaim VAT. The only responsibility that GRI and MCI Amsterdam have in this procedure is to provide the invoice. Any other steps to reclaim VAT have to be taken by the delegates or organizations they are working for.
Payment by credit card
The online registration platform is a secure site. Payment by credit card is highly recommended as the registration can be confirmed immediately. VISA, Eurocard / MasterCard and AMEX are the only credit cards accepted. Please enter all relevant information on the registration form. Upon completion of the online registration process, you will receive an invoice / receipt by email.
Cancellation of conference registration 
In the event of cancellation, written notification must be sent by email to griconference-reg@mci-group.com. The following refund conditions apply:

In case of cancellation before or on 29 January 2016, the registration fee less an administration fees of 10% will be refunded.
In case of cancellation from 30 January to 15 April 2016, the registration fee less an administration fees of 50% will be refunded.
As of 16 April 2016, the registration fees will not be refunded.

Name changes

For changing the name of an attendee, to another representative of the same organization, an administrative fee of € 25 will be charged. For each name change you must notify the Conference registration office by e-mail to griconference-reg@mci-group.com before 15 May 2016. Name change participants agree to take over all booked program items of the originally registered participant.
Photographs and videos

GRI reserves the right to photograph and film the Conference and participants and to use such photographs and films ​in any internal and external communication referring to the Conference or GRI, such as on its websites, GRI’s social media channels, or other publications. By registering you consent to such uses.

By providing your consent to GRI, you agree for the contact information given in your registration of the 5th GRI Global Conference 2016, to be used in conjunction with the GRI Conference App and to receive communications from GRI related to the Conference.
GRI will not sell, share, or disclose otherwise this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in these Terms and Conditions.
You have the right to access and rectify your personal data by contacting the GRI 2016 Conference Secretariat (c/o MCI Amsterdam) by email to griconference-reg@mci-group.com.
Insurance and liability disclaimer

The GRI 2016 Conference Team  (c/o MCI Amsterdam) works as an agent on behalf of GRI. Neither the GRI 2016 Conference Team nor GRI may be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any property, whatever the cause may be. Liability of persons and enterprises providing means of transportation or other services, however, remains unaffected.

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate cover for travel, health and accident insurance before they depart from their countries. GRI and MCI as organizers cannot accept responsibility for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belonging to the congress participants and accompanying persons.
Should, for any reason outside the organizers' control (including but not limited to acts of terrorism, extreme weather conditions and/or industrial action) the venue or speakers change, or the event be cancelled, the organizers will endeavour to re-schedule, but shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages or expenses incurred by registrants. If for any reason the organizers decide to make material changes to this event, they are not responsible for airfares, hotels or other costs incurred by registrants. The customer takes part in the event, all tours and trips at his/her own risk. Furthermore, the organizers may not be held liable for any costs or damages incurred resulting from acts outside of their control including but not limited to force majeure, strikes and/or public manifestations. Only written arrangements are binding. The sole legal venue is Amsterdam RAI. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of these conditions.
In any disputes that may arise concerning the execution or interpretation of the present terms and conditions related to the Conference registration and individual hotel reservations, both parties agree that they will be subject to Dutch law and that the commercial courts of Amsterdam will be competent, without prejudice to GRI’s right to initiate proceedings under the laws and before the courts of the participant’s registered office in the event any sums are due by the participant to GRI.
