GRI Focal Point USA facilitated North American participation at the Global Conference. The North American Delegation consisted of GRI’s closest supporters in North America, such as Founding Sponsors, Sector Leaders, Training Partners, Organizational Stakeholders, and G4 Campaign Sponsors. Special private events were developed for Delegation members to complement the overall Conference experience, and to provide Delegation members with tailored G4 information. Tuesday 21 May, the pre-Conference day, was the North American networking day, including a field trip and a seminar and reception at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange (Team NYSE Euronext).

Institut RSE Management specializes in data construction, management and reporting. The Institut RSE Management has been a GRI Organizational Stakeholder (OS) since it's founding in 2008, and has been actively promoting sustainability reporting and management ever since. The National Business Association of Colombia (ANDI), ES Global Consulting and BSD Consulting jointly led the Hispanic Latin American Delegation for the 2013 Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting.
ANDI is a non-profit organization that aims to expand and promote a free enterprise system based on the principles of social justice, economic freedom and political equality. Since its founding in 1994, ANDI has been one of the most active private sector associations in the country, with over 1,200 member companies from various sectors and present in 11 regions of Colombia.

The Nippon Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1962. As one of the world's prominent private foundations, the organization collaborates with over 20 partner organizations to support a wide range of projects aimed at enhancing cultural exchange, tackling food security, facilitating sport activities and regional networking. In recent years, the Nippon Foundation has become increasingly invovled in collaborative philanthropic activities in the Japanese business sector. Since 2006, we have played a leading role in promoting disclosure of CSR information by Japanese corporations through the development of the CSR+ Database, which includes data on over 1,700 companies based in Japan. Now, in it's second phase, the foundation is shifting its focus towards enhancing the quality of information disclosure; implementing effective CSR activities; and establishing a platform to share knowledge and understanding between corporate bodies and NGOs.
As the Japanese Delegation Lead for the 2013 Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting, the Nippon Foundation engaged a diverse representative of participants from corporations, NGOs and government bodies. Leading figures in the development of guidelines and standards for the publication of sustainability reports including representatives from the business sector in Japan spoke at the regional public session on Friday, 24 May 2013.

A new chapter in sustainability reporting has emerged with the launch of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 guidelines at the Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting in Amsterdam, 22-24 May 2013. Why did Korean organizations attending the conference? The Republic of Korea is one of the leading countries in Asia publishing sustainability reports from multinational enterprises, SMEs, NGOs, academia, public & private organizations and the GRI conference brought together businesses and organizations from around the world who share the same interests and ingenuity regarding sustainability and reporting. Attendees at the conference had access to an in-depth coverage of the profound changes to the G4 guidelines, opportunities to attend master-classes, track trends in reporting, interact with industry peers, and experience expert plenaries featuring distinguished guests to explore solutions to sustainability challenges. As the Delegation Lead for the Republic of Korea, the Korea Productivity Center (KPC) provided simultaneous real-time translation for the Korean Delegation attending the conference. Jonitly leading the Middle East delegation, Arabia CSR Network and Sustainability Excellence proactively accelerate sustainability reporting by encouraging transparency and upholding accountability in the region. Both organizations are GRI Organizational Stakeholders (OS).
The Arabia CSR Network grew out of the EEG CSR Network, which has been actively advancing CSR in the Gulf region since 2004. Central to the 2013 Global Conference on Sustainability and Reporting, the theme of corporate social responsibility and non-financial reporting is an actively developing practice in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, including CIS countries. The Global Conference engaged the world's sustainabiltiy leaders and practitioners to better understad these themes as well as highlight best practices and discuss the adaptation of the GRI Guidelines to individual approaches and initiatives. The National Center for Sustainability Reporting (NCSR) is a non-profit organization established in 2005 by five major organizations, including the Indonesian Insitute of Management Accountants (IAMI), National Committee on Governance (KNKG), Forum for Corporate Governance in Indonesia (FCGI), Association of Indonesian Public Listed Companies (AEI) and the Indonesian Netherlands Association (INA). The NCSR has been a GRI Organizational Stakeholder since 2006 and has been actively promoting sustainability reporting and management ever since. Since 2011, the NCSR has been appointed the GRI Certified Training Partner for Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand and has already conducted a number of trainings in the South East Asia region.
