​GRI offers a range of tailored workshops for organizations interested in learning more about Sustainability Reporting and the GRI. These workshops can be requested by any organization, anywhere in the world, and are conducted by an experienced GRI facilitator. The workshops run either half a day or a full day, depending on the needs of the requesting organization.

The organization requesting the workshop arranges for the participants, the venue, training equipment, facilitator fee as well as the facilitator’s travel expenses and accommodation.

If your organization would like to arrange a workshop, please send the following information to GRI:

  • What your organization does, where it is based and whether it is profit or not-for-profit?
  • Which workshop would your organization like to request for?
  • When and where you propose to hold the workshop?
  • Your target group (whether it would just be internal staff or are you planning host the workshop for anyone who would be interested?)
  • Whether your organization intends to charge participants to attend?

 Integrating the SDGs into your reporting process

 

This workshop is a full day event that provides guidance and useful information on the GRI Standards, sustainability reporting, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Integrating the SDGs into your reporting process workshop is aimed at report preparers and professionals in the field of CSR and sustainability reporting that want to advance their knowlegde on the SDGs. The workshop enables attendees to: 

  • Learn about the Sustainable Development Goals, what they are and how they set the global agenda for sustainable development, as well as how they relate to governments and business actions. Furthermore, you will see how the SDGs link to the GRI Standards on both goal and target level and wht the available business actions and possible business disclosures are per each SDG target. 

  • Learn about GRI and its vision and mission as an independent organization and how to navigate the modular structure of the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards (GRI Standards).

  • Understand the method to integrate the SDGs into your reporting process by learning about available SDG tools and how to use them, including five practical steps. The workshop also contains case studies which demonstrate how companies have started to integrate the SDGs into their reporting process.

The workshop reflects important updates, such as the newest tools & publications related to the SDGs. Furthemore, the design has been updated, giving it a more modern look and feel.

​​In addition to the facilitator’s fee, the organization requesting the workshop is also expected to arrange and pay for the venue, participants, training equipment, as well as the GRI facilitator’s travel expenses and accommodation costs.
