Can I include GRI’s logo in our sustainability (or similar) report?
No. GRI's logo cannot be used inside a printed or online sustainability (or similar) report. This is because GRI does not in any way endorse, certify, assure, or approve reports. Reporting organizations can choose to display relevant Organizational Marks when appropriate (see below) in their reports, and subject to the policies for those images. Can I include GRI’s logo on our website?
No. In exceptional circumstances and only subject to prior written permission from GRI, the GRI logo can be used online and/or linked to the GRI website. A logo (a .jpg or .png file) will be provided by GRI once/if permission has been granted. Use of the logo online must contain/address all of the following elements.
Can I have the logo/tagline translated into another language?
No. The logo and marks must be used as provided by GRI - changes are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in the color, proportion, or design of the logo and marks, or removal of any words, artwork, or trademark symbols. In addition, GRI logo and marks may not be animated, morphed, or otherwise distorted in perspective or appearance.
