Disclosure Review Service performed on draft reports

The GRI Disclosure Review Service organizational mark is the formal confirmation that the report of a particular organization has undergone and successfully completed the GRI Disclosure Review Service for a GRI Standards report in a particular language, month and year. The organizational mark in PNG format comprises of the Service mark as well as a statement which outlines the conclusion of the Service and the scope that was reviewed.

If, after having received the mark, any changes are made to the elements of the report that are within the scope of the GRI Service, the mark is no longer valid and the Reporting Organization must remove the organizational mark from the report immediately. The organizational mark shall be included in the final version of the report GRI has reviewed without further amendment. Use of the mark on the website or other communications is not permitted. To use the mark in a language version that has not been reviewed by GRI, the Reporting Organization will have to provide references to the language version that has undergone the service and will have to include a disclaimer that the Reporting Organization is the sole owner of translated version of the report and guarantees that all elements of the reviewed version of the report has been taken into account in the translated version. The organizational mark can be used both electronically and in print, provided that the two versions of the report have used the same content for the reviewed disclosures.

The GRI Disclosure Review Service organizational mark is a combination of Service mark and a statement text about the scope of the Service; changes to the organizational mark and statement are not allowed and it should be included in the report “as is”. The organizational mark must be displayed in a way which allows for the contents to be legible. The statement text provided by GRI needs to be included at the same page where the organizational mark for the Disclosure Review Service is included and will indicate the disclosures where GRI’s feedback was addressed. Please consult the Terms & Conditions of this service for more information.
