Navigating the GRI Sector Standards
One of the problems with sustainability reporting is the lack of consistency and comparability of data, even when assessing reports of organizations from the same sector and country. The GRI Sector Standards provide a fast-track for companies with shared common activities to focus on the impacts on the economy, environment and society that matter most in their sector. They provide a sustainability context for a sector, outline likely material topics and list relevant disclosures, while helping companies understand stakeholders’ expectations. This course explains how to use the GRI Sectors Standards and how reporting on sector-specific impacts can contribute to the consistency, quality, and comparability of reported data. It is a logical complement to the "Reporting with the GRI Standards" training course.
