Catalyzing change beyond corporate reporting

Impact survey on the GRI Standards is now open for reporters

Reporting companies around the world are being encouraged to contribute to an analysis of how the GRI Standards increase corporate transparency and lead to improved business practices. The survey from GRI and Genesis Analytics, a South Africa-based consulting firm, is open now to all organizations that use the Standards.

The survey is part of a wider impact study which aims to understand how the GRI Standards are being applied and evaluate how they influence corporate and wider sustainability practices, at the organizational, societal and policy level.

How can reporting organizations take part?

This online survey will gather insights and feedback from organizations on their use of the GRI Standards. Consisting of mainly multiple-choice questions, the survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Organizations are asked to complete the survey by 25 March

Organizations can also indicate their interest in participating in a follow-up call – or a key informant interview – as a next step of the research process. This will provide opportunities to share an in-depth perspective on the impact that the Standards have on their business operations and society at large.

The results of the study are set to publish later this year.

GRI would like to thank the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) for supporting this study.
