Published date: 28 October 2025

Upcoming key engagements and high-level events alongside COP30

As the world gathers in Brazil for COP30 - the most important climate meeting of the year - GRI will be present to engage with global leaders, share expertise, and advance the dialogue on how corporate transparency can drive meaningful action on climate change and biodiversity protection.

GRI senior leaders will join panels, events, and strategic meetings in São Paulo, including PRI in Person 2025, the world’s leading responsible investment conference, where GRI CEO Robin Hodess will moderate a panel on impact investing.

In the run-up to COP30, São Paulo will host a range of corporate discussions bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and civil society to shape actionable strategies for addressing climate change.

Building on the recent launch of the Climate Change and Energy Standards, GRI will present their translations into Spanish and Portuguese, as part of the efforts to promote global accessibility and encourage adoption of the Standards among organizations worldwide.

Launched in June 2025, GRI 102: Climate Change and GRI 103: Energy set a new benchmark for transparent and actionable climate, energy and a just transition, empowering organizations to take accountability for their impacts and accelerate climate action
