Small Business, Big Impact
SME Sustainability Reporting: From vision to action

Global sustainability challenges are increasingly driving new regulations, laws and policy. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have a crucial role to play in building a sustainable future and doing so is smart from a business perspective. Through sustainability reporting, SMEs can improve risk management, foster responsible business practices and unlock new opportunities in global markets. This publication strives to inspire SMEs about the important role they play in the global economy, how GRI Standards and the SDGs can help them to understand and communicate their impacts and performance in the context of the global sustainability challenge, and to encourage SMEs to take action to build a sustainable future. Small Business, Big Impact. SME Sustainability Reporting: From vision to action is a publication from GRI and the International Organisation of Employers (IOE).
