Who we work with

South Asia Charter on Sustainability Imperatives

As an outcome of the GRI South Asia Summit, held in July 2020, we have led the development of a Charter on Sustainability Imperatives, which commits to a decade of urgent action in South Asia to ensure the completion of the SDGs.

This multi-stakeholder created charter is now available for businesses across the region to sign – signalling their commitment to sustainable development.

SDG Agenda 2030 South Asia Initiative

Now in its second phase, this program promotes SDG action through corporate SDG reporting. The objective is achieved through capacity building and peer learning amongst SDG corporate members through dialogue forums.

Sustainability and Transparency Consortium

Bringing together key players in the South Asian corporate responsibility and sustainability landscape, this multi-stakeholder network supports GRI South Asia to make sustainability reporting standard practice throughout the region.

Sustainable Trade and Investment through Reporting program

This DFAT (Australia Department for Foreign Affairs & Trade) supported program works with regional stock exchanges and regulators to issue ESG guidance and training for publicly listed companies in the practice of sustainability reporting It aims to contribute to more sustainable trade in South Asia in the long-term.

SIDA: India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

We support SIDA’s (Swedish International Development Agency) program in the region to further the SDGs. GRI South Asia worked closely with key organizations to build the capacity of companies and report users on sustainability reporting and SDGs.
